one you currently have and instead of us dropping 
off or you picking up the one that was repaired. 
You want us to keep the repaired one and you 
continue to use the laptop you currently have?

Hi Brady,
Is it possible for me to keep the computer I have 
and swap it for the one that needed repaired? I 
have items saved to the desktop and changing 
computers again will be disruptive to my processes 
right now.

Good Morning,

We have two tickets open for you regarding a computer swap and a keyboard replacement. From my understanding, you have been using computer #20200314[Edit Inv] while your computer, #20200173[Edit Inv], the one with the broken keyboard, was being looked at. Computer #20200173[Edit Inv] has had the keyboard replaced, and it is ready to be picked up. For #20200314[Edit Inv], we just need the name of the new Scholarship Assistant Director to assign the laptop to, assuming this person will be using #20200314[Edit Inv]. Please let me know the name of this person and a time when you would be available to pick up your laptop.

Hello Lauryn,

Thank you for your email. We will need PowerFAIDS and Adobe Pro added to that computer. I was hoping to swap it out for my computer which has issues with the keys. I have to pound on my keys to get them to work. It would be great to have a computer in meetings that will function adequately. When my computer is working better or replaced, then I would like to assign it to my new Assistant Director - Scholarships. We are in the process right now of refilling that position so it will be several weeks before I have a name for you.

My computer number is 20200173[Edit Inv].

reimaged and perhaps the cpu can be picked up when 
UCS comes over to pick up Leslie's other 
components?

The Scholarship Assistant Director position is in 
the process of being filled so I will get you 
their name once it's finalized. 

The only specific software to be added will be 
PowerFAIDS and Adobe Pro.

Hi Kella,

We can reassign the laptop to the other employee 
but we will still need Leslie to turn it in 
because it will need to be reimaged. Typically we 
keep computers for two weeks before reimaging just 
in case anything needs to be pulled off the 
computer. If you are needing this sooner we can 
but we need your approval and our supervisors. We 
will need the 20181065[Edit Inv] returned to us as well.

Can we get the name of the person this laptop will 
be going to? Is there any specific software 
besides PowerFaids that is needed on the laptop?

Hello Lourdes,

I can appreciate that UCS wants to track laptops 
for when staff depart from WOU; however, I was 
hoping to move this laptop to my Assistant 
Director - Scholarships office since that office 
still has a CPU and no laptop. I am asking for 
this laptop in particular since it has PowerFAIDS 
installed which only Financial Aid uses. 

Is it possible to swap out the tower (20181065) 
for this laptop?
