be on campus for a about 4 hours.

Your computer is ready to go, the computer is actually going to be 
a full replacement for the GFA laptop that wasn’t working before. I 
would just need to set up admin rights and get the printers set up 
for you. Feel free to stop by at some point today and someone at 
the front desk can help you out. We could alternatively schedule a 
time next week for me to stop by and set up the machine for you.

Well his laptop has been here for a year, and he 
called saying that he returned the loaner a while 
ago because it was also giving issues. He needs 
another computer to work with for the summer and 
he's on campus tomorrow , it needs to be a mac 
computer. You can call him and work out a plan

What do we do with this machine? She currently has her loaner, which we would like to get back, and she either needs to put in for a new laptop request or something else, because she can't just keep the loaner.

This macbook has no warranty left in it. Leslie is currently using loaner 20161082[Edit Inv], which is mentioned in loaner SR 80607.

This laptop has an SSD malfunction of some kind; it 
does the same type of stuff it did before, either 
not loading all the way and getting stuck around 
half way, or fully loading up after ages just to be 
greeted with "MacOS did not shutdown properly" 
message, something internal is wrong with it.

I just clicked continue on the icloud lock screen to 
see what happens and it just let me into the 
desktop? Running updates and reimaging like normal 
laptop, will see if that icloud lock comes up again.

Hi Leslie,

I was able to redownload Mac OS on this laptop, and 
I was greeted with an iCloud lock - presumably from 
your account; is there any way you could come down 
to UCS to put this in? We need it to unlock and 
reimage this laptop fully.

It seems the laptop is still having issues booting 
up, is there a possibility I can re-image the laptop 
and solve the issue? It would delete any data that 
is physically on the laptop itself and not the cloud 
/ H drive / online.

Will attempt to wipe and reinstall Mac OS, see if that clears the issue. 
There must obviously be no sensitive data on this machine as it 
hasn't been needed since January.

Hi Laurie,
Well that particular laptop just kept acting 
up...didn't reboot again.
So, I had had it with that one..just gave up on it 
as it stopped working for me..
so i exchanged it with another loaner and this one 
is fine!!  I believe her name was Sam
who exchanged it for me.

Hi, we were cleaning up and found your computer 
#20190701[Edit Inv]. I looked and the last record we have is 
that you picked it up on April 13th after we fixed 
the booting issue for you. Do you still have the 
loaner or was there another issue with this laptop?

Hi Sam,
No I have not been able to login.  It never boots 
all the way to 100% to allow me to login.  I tried 
holding power button for at least 10 seconds.  
Same result.
It has been charging for 2 days when I got it home 
and all of this morning.

Hi Miguel,
I keep trying at home to boot up the computer and 
it's been stuck for hours.  Can I bring it back 
again?
The main software I need is to teach Choreography 
for the Camera and I need I Movie and also the 
more advanced Adobe premiere if possible.

Description: Computer running slow

The computer has been stuck on the boot up screen for at least 24 hours now, and we think it's best to reimage the computer with a fresh install. We can go ahead with this but here's a couple of questions:
Did you back up your files to your H drive?
What software should we install if we do reimage the computer?

Please let me know as soon as possible.
