then returning the old laptop to us.

Set up dock and monitor in her office in Admin 
205b. There is currently a second monitor still 
there but won't function with the MAC laptop that 
they requested.

I need to find out if her partner is able to take 
time off of work to drive her here on a workday. My 
understanding is that he doesn't have a lot of time 
off during the week, so it will be challenging. I 
should have mentioned she has a broken leg and that 
is why she is remote. She is unable to physically get 
to campus at this time and why I was trying to do 
everything in my power to help her get the setup. 
With the laptop she is currently using, she and I met 
on campus on a Sunday and I had her log in via the 
network. Then, once she got home she worked with 
someone in your department remotely to help her get 
the VPN set up, etc. 

So, that is pretty much the option we are left with. 
Having her setup delivered here in her office. Then, 
she and I can meet on a Sunday again to have her log 
in and she can work with your department via  zoom to 
set up the VPN and network drives.

The easiest way would be to come to UCS to pick 
everything up since it is a GFA we would need the old 
computer before we can give her the new one. She 
would also have to log in on campus to create her 
computer profile. We could also help her set up her I 
drive and VPN here.


Since it is a GFA she'd have to make sure to add all 
the files that she wants to keep on the H: drive 
because they won't transfer over otherwise.

No additional software is needed beyond the standard 
that you provide. 

Adrien's office is located in Admin. 205B. However, 
Adrien is currently 100% remote at this time until at 
least the end of March. What is your recommendation 
for her first time logging in on the WOU network? If 
you are able to come and set up her station, then she 
can meet me on a Sunday and I can help her log in. 
That way, we will know she successfully logged in 
before she takes the laptop to her home work station. 
If that doesn't work for you, do you have another 
suggestion?

Some additional questions for your setup and to 
update inventory:
Do you have any additional software you need us to 
install?
Can we have the building and room number of where 
this setup will go?
