Hi Kirstie,

Description: Laptop  that is used for security 
cameras overheating

We took a look at it and it doesn't seem to be over 
heating. The heat and fan noise is just loud on that 
model of computer because of where they put the fan 
on that model. 

The computer is ready to be picked up whenever works 
for you.

been running it for a while and I think it gets as 
hot as it is supposed to. I opened up the back and 
the fans were clean and seem to be working fine

Laptop is at my desk. User needs to login to 
computer then to Spotter to make sure that it is all 
working correctly for her. It needs to be here at my 
desk.

Hello,

I have noticed it for about 4 months. I assumed it 
was because I have it on longer than the previous 
person did for the security cameras. I'm not sure 
that I can unplug it to bring it to campus. I may 
have to loop in campus safety for this 
conversation because I don't know what the 
protocol would be to switch laptops. There are no 
other significant apps on the laptop that we care 
about. We really only use this laptop to view our 
security cameras when we're in the building.

Hello there,

The laptop we use that has our security camera app 
has been overheating. The fan on it is running but 
the bottom of the laptop is hot to the touch. The 
property number is 20190695[Edit Inv].
