The laptop is not finding either the mouse or the 
external keyboard (so that I can use the big 
monitor efficiently. I've restarted and shut down 
numerous times. I've swapped out both the mouse 
and the keyboard, and tried using different USB 
ports on the CalDigit and the Dell monitor.

John R. had this laptop imaged several weeks ago, 
and it was working fine until last week.

I am in the office today - Todd 132.

I need some additional information regarding service

Description: **6/12/23** Laptop is not recognizing 
keyboard or mouse. 

I was wondering what your results from swapping out 
the CalDigit boxes was? And if you would like us to 
come visit your office to help you solve this please 
let us know your availability today and confirm the 
location of your office being Todd Hall 132. Thank

I can drop it off in a couple of hours. But would 
it help if the tech observed what is happening 
when I try to use it?
I'm working from home on our second laptop 
(20210758) which has not exhibited the same issue. 
I can arrange to be in my office by 11.

you. I will need some additional information to 
complete the request. What is the WOU number for 
your laptop? Where is the laptop located? What is 
the best time for you to either drop off the 
device or for a tech to come visit? Please let me

No - I can log in from the laptop keyboard - but I 
can't access the big keyboard or the mouse on the 
big monitor. I've restarted, shutdown and replaced 
the keyboard with another. No effect.

I didn't realize the email had changed - I was 
just using the email that pops up when I compose.

The real issue is my laptop is acting up again. 
John imaged it and it worked fine for a few weeks. 
But now it's not recognizing the keyboard or 
mouse, which are plugged into the CalDigit.
