Brought computer back, had user log in, and was able 
to find printers.

Hey Tony,

They came and took that computer on Monday because 
the chaps who came to fix it couldn't figure out 
why it isn't pulling up printers. Running the 
Troubleshooter had the printer list pop up within 
10 seconds but then the troubleshooter would 
freeze and we'd be right back to square one.

I've currently got a UCS loaner at my desk.

Hi Joseph,

I need some additional information regarding 
service request #80762

Description: Printers not pulling 

We were able to log in to your computer and the 
printers populated fine for us. We are assuming 
the issue is caused by something on your account. 
To fix this we will need to remove your account 
from the computer, then re-add it. Doing this will 
remove all your data/information from the 
computer. Before we do this we want to make sure 
any important data you have stored on the computer 
is backed up on your H drive, so you don't loose 
anything. You can come in to UCS to do that during 
normal university business hours(8-5). If you 
already have everything backed up, let me know and 
we can get started working on it. Let me know if 
you have any questions!

It happens any time I try to print, if the network 
printers haven't loaded. Today I restarted my 
computer 4 times and it didn't load them correctly 
after any of the restarts, so I just kept running 
the troubleshooter until it completed without 
freezing. Probably the 3rd time I tried to run the 
troubleshooter it pulled up the list of printers 
and didn't freeze so I was able to print again.

I'm worried that when I come back in tomorrow that 
it will be back to not recognizing network 
printers.

It freezes while trying to pull up the printer 
information. It looks like my computer isn't 
loading printer options after startup for some 
reason. When I open Printer settings it shows no 
printers available, so when I try to Print 
something it freezes trying to find the printer.

This morning I've tried twice now to run the 
Printer Troubleshoot. This makes the Printers & 
scanners list load correctly but then the 
troubleshooter is freezing on 'Detecting problems' 
so it seems like something is giving my system 
trouble when trying to load and connect to the 
network's printers.

I have been unable to print today because every 
time I try to, it freezes my browser while 
searching for a printer. Both on Chrome and Edge. 
In Printers & Scanners setting it shows I'm not 
connected to any printer.
