Hi Elisa,

I was able to put Camtasia v3 on this machine for 
you. I believe the device is ready for a pickup! If 
you would just want to come into UCS whenever works 
for you with the loaner laptop, we could exchange 
those and have you login to the fixed laptop to make 
sure everything works adequately.

I installed camtasia v3, will have user login when 
she picks laptop up. Otherwise, I believe this 
laptop is good to go - will also check if they need 
VPN when it is picked up. Emailing for pickup.

The MS Office Suite, Zoom, and Adobe Acrobat are all 
installed and up-to-date. Do you know what version 
of Camtasia you need?

The programs I use most often are MS Office suite, 
Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, and Camtasia. I don't think I 
am forgetting anything....LEt me know when I can

Issue still happens after the reimage. The laptop 
has find my device activated so we need user to 
remove the device before we can send it in

Apple wants us to try and reimage it before 
sending it in.

The only thing wrong with this laptop is the Touch Bar, John 
referenced a sort of hardware reset that may help with issues like 
that, but asides that this laptop is fine - I am attaching a video of 
what the flashing Touch Bar looks like.

Finished downloading Ventura, I am updating a couple apps like the 
office suite and adobe, as well as Sophos. When I awoke the laptop 
from its sleep, it didn't do the flashing Touch Bar thing. Will confirm. 
Also, both thunderbolt ports work, at least for charging. It hasn't had 
any weird battery performance issues or a battery replace warning, 
it's battery seems fine.

Upon waking up the laptop today, the touch bar 
indeed did a sporadic flashing thing, as the rest of 
the laptop seemed to function fine - upon touching 
the touch bar, it went back to normal. Will test 
more.

The touch bar worked fine when I logged into UCS 
admin. I've only been testing it for a few minutes. 
Will test power - I think potentially they had way 
too many apps open that were drawing serious power, 
enough to negate the charger plugged in and thus we 
would see minor battery loss as opposed to battery 
gain.

I'm not sure what she means by flashing touchpad - 
there is no indicator LED or backlight LED for 
touchpads on these. In terms of the keyboard, I 
tried raising or lowering the backlight and the 
screen that pops up gives a minus sign as if the 
backlight on the keyboard was disabled.

placing this in the in box. Her loaner was picked up 
and the user signed on when she came to campus with 
the ethernet.

Hello, Sam.

Thank you for the response. The only backup I can 
see is for "garage band," which I don't use. I've 
been ignoring it. Should I update? I will bring 
the laptop over on Monday; that will give me time 
to back it up. A mac loaner, please.

Good morning,

My laptop touchpad frequently flashes when turned 
on or when it is opened/awakened from sleep mode. 
It also loses power while plugged in. I brought it 
in a few months ago and I was told that nothing 
was wrong. These two problems continue. When may I 
bring it in? I will need a loaner.
