I put the chrome book in the parts shelf in case pieces can be used 
for other computers. I returned the bag and charger to the library as 
requested.

No, the library does not want to purchase a new internal battery.  
We would have UCS PDR the Chromebook 20160805[Edit Inv] .  The library 
would like the bag and the charger/power cord back.  I might be 
able to pick them up tomorrow.  I am scheduled on a public desk 
all day so it might be next week.

Hi Lori,



We were just following up with you regarding a service request that 
we have for you.  (#80929)



Description: Chromebook battery issue



I have opened up the chrome book and tried to swap the batteries 
with another Chromebook, it could be that both batteries are just bad 
because the other battery did make it turn on, it just wouldn't stay on 
when not plugged in. We can order a new battery to see if that fixes 
the issue. The battery typically tends to be the issue with chrome 
books, especially because this one is 6+ years old. Let me know if 
that is something you'd want us to do.

Chromebook 20160805[Edit Inv] has a blinking amber light 
which is normally a battery issue.  It won't turn 
on.  I will bring it to the HelpDesk tomorrow.
