I was able to install dock 20200348[Edit Inv] for Robert in his room, BELL 204. Will note that his cables were messy, offered to bring some cable management supplies over to him. He said that was alright. Closing ticket.

Hi Andrew,
Apologies for the extensive delay on this matter.

I will be in my office next Tuesday at 12:noon-
1:45pm.

If you can make it during that time, we can get 
the docking station setup then.
If not, perhaps Thursday of next week at the same 
time.

Just let me know what works best for you and I'll 
confirm.

Hi Sharyne,

I need some additional information regarding 
service request #80968

Description: Reimage for Robert Forbis who will be 
replacing Mark Henkels

Thank you for patiently working with us to getting 
the dock for Robert.

Sorting through the confusion where there was a 
Mac and only assigning a PC without the dock. 
Since the PC was from the GFA pool we can assign a 
dock without charge to Robert.

Let's setup an appointment to finalize the setup.

We are available from Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 
PM.

Hi Sharyne, 

You can drop the computer (20191036)  off at our 
front desk or we can have one of our techs come 
pick it up as long as there is someone there to 
let us into the room. 

We typically hold on to the laptop for 14 days 
before reimaging in case anything needs to be 
pulled off of it. This will help us make sure the 
laptop is updated and has the latest software. But 
if you think the 14 days wait time is not 
necessary, you can let us know and we can have it 
ready in a couple of days. Just enough time for us 
to reimage, update, and install applications to 
the computer.

Hello,

I need to make a change in computer assignments.  
Robert Forbis, new faculty in our Politics, Policy 
and Administration department, was going to be 
issued Mac laptop 20200265[Edit Inv] (currently being re-
imaged).  There was a miscommunication and he is 
not a Mac user.  We have a division laptop 
(20191036) that I think could be re-imaged for him 
and would be a better fit.  The laptop is 
currently in the Social Science office BELL 231A.

He did complete his paperwork yesterday.  He also 
had received early computer access back in June, I 
believe.  He does not have any special software 
that we have purchased for him.  He does not seem 
overly concerned about this getting done, I'm sure 
next week is also fine.

Robert Forbis is now permanently in the area and 
will be on campus this week.  I let him know that 
his computer is being reimaged. I can have him 
contact UCS directly about his setup.

Hello,

We have a MAC laptop (20200265) that we would like 
set up in BELL 204.  That faculty member (Robert 
Forbis) is arriving the third week of August.  
Please advise if the basic set up can be done 
before he is here or if we should wait on that.
