Picked up loaner laptop from Shawn, she said he 
computer it working right now. Put loaner in two 
weeks pile.

Brought her laptop back to her, hooked it up. 
Changed settings preventing USB to wake PC. Told 
her incase it does happen again, she can use the 
loaner until the end of the week. If we don't hear 
something by the end of the week I'll call to 
schedule a time to pick up the loaner.

I couldn't replicate the issue at the office.

She dropped her laptop over. Placed in the "In 
box". She wanted to mention that when she's at 
home she doesn't have any problems turning the 
laptop on, but when she is on campus and connects 
to her dock it makes her device really hot and 
does not turn on. So she thinks it really is her 
dock that is the issue.

Shawn Sellers reports that her dell laptop is not 
turning on despite there being a power signal 
light on both the laptop and dock station. She 
speculates it might be a faulty dock that is 
causing the lack of power delivery issue and is 
wondering if a tech would prefer to stop by and 
take a look or have it dropped off. 

Either way, she would like a dell loaner while the 
laptop is being looked at.
