I think it is okay to close the ticket. The headset
did turn on one more time using the bluetooth but I
was shown how to shut it off

It looks like a tech came and fixed your bluetooth

If not I will go ahead and close this service

Changed USB settings to not turn off device to
save power and changed sound setting so apps
should not have direct control over the device.
Dell updates were up to date. Going to lave ticket
open for a bit to see if she still has the same
issue.

She reported that her Plantronics - Voyager 5200 UC
Bluetooth headset is sometimes auto answering Zoom
Phone calls.

Confirm that the headset has the current firmware
installed;

update-Voyager-5200-headset-s-firmware

Also, confirm that the current Bluetooth drivers are
installed for the computer.

Kyla,

I am just checking in on SR#81131, I haven't seen
any techs yet to work on my computer. I am only
here until 5 pm today and then I will be out of
the office tomorrow. If you have an ETA that
would be great.

Thanks,

Just starting/restarting takes a long time. I do
experience delays when opening programs or typing;
it takes a little while for the programs to open
and the letters to start. I am not trying to be a
pain but if I have to restart my computer for some
reason during the day (especially after updates)
it will take 30-45 minutes before I can log in
again.

The only time I had the DP/VGA cable not found is
when I moved my monitor too far and it fell out.
I just plugged it back in and it worked fine. No
screens of death or anything. Just delayed
starting and opening programs. And it hasn't made
that sound again since we restarted.

Just wanted to let you all know.

Thanks Kyla for checking on it.

Hi Laura,

Yes, based on what you have mentioned it seems
like your computer was undergoing updates. And
sometimes they may take a while. Are you still
experiencing any issues after you've restarted
your computer?

 For example :
- the screen going blue or black/another color?
- Do you encounter any error messages? (Ex : "Boot
device not found", "Automatic Repair", "Entering
Sleep Mode", or "DP/VGA cable not found")

Just wanting to gather more information as I
create a service request for this so our techs can
get a better understanding of what the issue is.

Best,
Kyla

Good afternoon,
When I got back to the office this afternoon my
computer was making a weird noise that the fan was
going out. But it is more like the video card was
vibrating. I shut it down and restarted it and
the sound has gone away for now.

Normally my computer takes a long time to start up
and restart on a daily basis. When I log out at
night I always restart my computer so updates can
be pushed to it.

I guess after all my babbling I didn't know if
someone would be able to look at my computer when
they have a few minutes.

My WOU asset tag number for my PC is 20181050[Edit Inv], if
that helps.

Thank you for your time and hard work.

Sincerely,

--
Laura Freeborn
