Laptop bag and charger are still in office. Emailed user, she doesn't think she got a charger / bag when she picked up the laptop. I am confirming this, then setting aside the bag and charger with a note on it at the front desk.

Hi Chelsee,

I need some additional information regarding service request #81144

Description: laptop battery needs replacement - waiting for battery to arrive

While doing some cleaning around the office, I noticed that we still have the original bag and charger for this WUC conference room laptop. Did we provide a bag and charger when we got it back to you?

I have the new battery installed and have the 
computer ready to be delivered or handed back to 
you. I can drop it off tomorrow around 12:30 to 1:00 
or you can come by whenever you're available to pick 
it up.

have a couple laptops we can use or ask for a loaner from UCS.

Hello Chelsee, 



If you would prefer me to reimage the machine, I can do that. It 
depends how fast you want it back. Once I delete the user profiles 
it could fix the issue, but it depends how quickly you want the 
machine back.



If i reimage it I would expect it to be done by the end of tomorrow 
(assuming there isn’t any special software needed). Deleting the 
users allows me to possibly have it back to you by the end of 
today.



Just let me know what route you would like to go.

deleting the user accounts would be great. Could you leave me as 
an Admin on that laptop? I also think reimaging would be a smart 
idea too in order to have a fresh start

Hello Chelsee,



The laptop has an NVMe in it already. The problem is the NVMe 
doesn’t have enough space to properly store all the data needed 
to run windows or load things it needs. I am noticing a lot of 
accounts on this computer, I can clear all of them and this would 
significantly clear up the disk space without having to reimage it. 
It would delete all the users settings for accounts that I clear, so 
any desktop short cuts and things like that would have to be reset 
up by the individual users.



I can try this first if you want me to, that way if it works I can have 
it back to you in an hour or so.

Hi Brady,



If that will fix the speed and ensure it fixes all the other issues, 
that works for me. Do you think it needs an NVME thing added? I 
need this laptop to be functioning at a high level. We use it in the 
pacific room all the time for large scale events, banquets, etc.

Description: Computer not tuning on

I'm looking at the laptop your brought into us, I 
was able to get it turned on and using an HDMI 
cord with sound. I did notice the laptop cannot 
keep battery life and it is running very slow. 
Looking more in-depth at this issue, I noticed 
that the hard drive of the computer doesn't have 
any free space. To resolve this issue (which may 
speed up the computer) I would have to reimage it.

I was wondering if that's something you would like 
us to do?

Chelsee dropped off laptop 20180013[Edit Inv] it is not 
turning on. They use this laptop for events.  When 
it was it was experiencing issues connected to the 
HMDI not showing up on the projector and no sound.
