Hello Taryn,

I see here your request for a third monitor; I don't believe your macbook can natively support three monitors. I am currently unable to check for myself; we have the same model of macbook pro that you have, but I am unable to get into them for testing because our imaging server is down. Whenever I am able to get these up and running, I will be able to see if there is any configuration that supports three monitors.

It wouldn't be a dock that allows for a third monitor connection, it would be the laptop itself on whether it can handle three monitors or not.

I will get back to you when I can regarding this,

From a quick research, it seems that the caldigit ts3 is able to support dual monitors through itself; one being from the dedicated display port, and one being one of the two usb-c ports on the back. This means that the it only supports two monitors natively? So, either two through the dock or 1 through the HDMI port on the laptop and 1 on either of the available ports on the dock. Testing in office with the same macbook and dock to see if I can connect three monitors.

Taryn submitted a PR to purchase a dock that can 
accommodate 3 monitors.  I don't think she needs 
to purchase a different dock?  Cannot hers work 
with 3 monitors?  Please also collect the WOU # on 
her third monitor

We were suppose to get 20180646[Edit Inv] returned since she 
received 20230032[Edit Inv] to replace 20180646[Edit Inv].  I think this 
was closed prematurely and we should not have loaded 
atlas.ti on 20180646[Edit Inv].  We need to get it back

I went over there and installed the software on her laptop, entering her key listed in the text doc in the t drive for atlas.ti. It had an update, then closed and opened again (made sure to be on her account), and then upon opening again it didn't ask for an activation code so it looks like it activated. Closing ticket.

Good morning Professor VanderPyl,

I believe I have the key needed to install / activate your copy of atlas.ti on your laptop. I'm sorry this took a little bit to find, sometimes these companies make it harder than it needs to be to find keys again. I am here until 1pm today, as well as 9am-5pm tomorrow. If there is a time that works for you, I can either meet you in your office or at UCS for installation.

She just needs atlas.ti installed on her computer and this will be all done, I am changing the ticket to reflect that and not show a new equipment setup.

I was able to successfully hook up everything, including her previous monitor for a dual monitor setup; this was a department monitor, so it is okay that it was left. I took back the loaner she was using, and the bag for the broken laptop she was replacing; it seems that the 20180646[Edit Inv] laptop is here with us.

Good Morning Professor VanderPyl, I am extremely sorry that you have been waiting all this time for this laptop; it seems we haven't been able to locate your activation key for the atlas.ti software. We have our purchasing agent, Joanie Kinnaman, that does the purchasing and storing of things like license / software keys. She hasn't been in for a few days and I don't have a way to ask her about this license for you. Are you able to use the laptop with out the Atlas.TI software - or do you know how to install this software?

I am able to set up all new equipment, with the exception that the laptop would not currently have the atlas.ti software on it yet. Would this be okay with you? I would be able to install all of these this morning; a new laptop, laptop dock, keyboard, mouse and monitor. I leave today at 1pm, let me know if there is a time that would work for you before this to install this.

atlas.ti is on T drive; the serial and purchase info for the latest installer was blank. May have to ask Joanie for key.
