Matte Black, Light Cyan, and Cyan are all expired 
toners.

They had the Cyan so we replaced that but they 
need to order the other cartridges

Hello,

I am composing a report regarding the HP Designjet 
Z2100 Photo poster printer situated on the third 
floor of the Instructional Technology Center (ITC) 
building. Unfortunately, the printer is currently 
experiencing issues that prevent its use. 
Specifically, it consistently displays an error 
message prompting us to replace the cartridge.

Upon investigation, we verified the ink status, 
which indicated errors in three colors. It is 
worth noting that we do have replacement 
cartridges readily available in our cabinet. We 
are seeking assistance in replacing these 
cartridges, as per the recommendation of the IT 
specialist who previously examined the printer to 
address this specific error.

Additionally, we would greatly appreciate 
receiving training on the proper usage and 
maintenance of this printer. This would help us 
avoid future issues and ensure efficient 
operation.

Good morning, Tracy,

Yesterday I went over the symptoms of the printer with Monica and we think the cartridges are too old again which is why they expired. I don't think there are any simple tricks that we can try to get them working again, it's probably safe to order new ones.

I went over there; I didn't get a WOU # for the printer, but it is one of those HP poster printers from 2015 that we have a handful of around campus. It seems they don't use it very often over in ITC, and as such there are instances where a year or so passes before it is used. During this time, it seems some of the ink cartridges expire and currently there were three in total that were giving warnings on the screen. It only prints from USB, so it has to be connected through USB and not the internet, but I sent an email to Tracy Boyson recommending replacement of those cartridges even though it is expensive. If it were up to me, I would see if I could use one of the other poster printers on campus (one in the NS building, and I think the library?) but that isn't how things work around here :)

User walked into our office and is wanting some help printing. She has 
never done printed on campus before and the printer says there's a 
cartridge issue but they told her that it was recently replaced. ITC 302D 
is her office number but the printer is next to tracy's office. Anytime 
until 5 asap preferred. cell number is 805 292 4730
