Installed setup, verified DUO worked. They can install epicor themselves. I cleared out a bunch of sign in's on the main computer to the left of the one we just installed; there were over 50 user profiles, and I deleted them all with the exception of the 4 student workers and 1 full time worker. Hopefully that should speed things up, over 30 gb's of login data. The main computer that is slow hasn't been imaged since 2020, and also probably has a hybrid spinning disk (which would explain it's slowness).

I don't believe so, any student that will be using this DUO locked machine will need to enroll in DUO themselves through portal. The option isn't there by default, and it is a tiny bit confusing on where to find it; I have included a screenshot of where the button is on my portal. You have to click the '+add channel' button on the students portal, which for me, was in the upper left hand corner of my portal menu. From there it opens up a menu of channels to add. For me, at the very bottom of this list was the DUO for students button. After they click that, it will be added towards the very bottom of their portal, and they can enroll in DUO like any other staff member.

Hi Kaitlin,

I have had the desktop all ready to go for the student worker station for HR, and was wondering; did this machine also need DUO security? Normally, every machine we get to HR has this installed, but seeing that it is going to a student station, did they want to put DUO on their account? Will they be overseeing any sensitive data? If so, I believe we may have to have them enroll in DUO regardless. Let me know if I should put it on or not, and then this computer is ready to be installed.

Did this setup also need a monitor / keyboard / mouse? or was there already equipment there in the office.
