Didn't reimage - deleted their profile, logged them back in. They were still admins, and the printers still showed up. Seeing how that goes. Put their admin rights on the spare department laptop they were using so they could update zoom. Closing ticket for now.

Hello! I wanted to check in with my ticket 
SR#81777. I know you all were super busy the last 
couple days with everything going down (thanks 
again for working so hard!) The reason I'm asking 
is I am currently using a spare laptop that is a 
bit older and I can't utilize Zoom on it because I 
can't run any updates, and I have a Zoom 
presentation next Monday, so I just wanted to 
check in to see if there is an estimated timeline 
of when I can use my regular laptop again. Thank 
you!!

This is the second occurrence I have seen of this happening on macs. I will log in both with the admin account as well as my student account and see if there are also any slowdowns. I had this issue in ITC 104 for the instructor PC; both instructors claimed the machine was slow (when it shouldn't be). I logged into my profile and I had none of these slowdowns; so I deleted their profile and had them sign back in and it fixed the issue. I don't know what they could have had running in their background to cause this issue, but it is worth noting.

My laptop would freeze on the opening desktop page 
as soon as I logged in, even after multiple 
attempts to restart it. It would get stuck on the 
spinning wheel as soon as I logged in, and I think 
it may be because the computer needs to update, 
but I couldn't get it to unfreeze in order to 
update it
