Have the last of the files finished transferring / downloading from your old machine? Are you able to drop 20171272[Edit Inv] off to us or have us pick it up somewhere on campus?

Everything is still copying over. I'm guessing 
you'll be closed by the time it's all done, so 
I'll bring them both home and drop the old laptop 
off on Friday. Anytime before 5pm work?

Hello Eric,

I've let the front desk know that you will be 
bringing your old macbook back to them.

UCS has advised me that if you could finish moving 
over your files by this week's Friday Dec. 15th 
that would be preferred.

Yes, that will work!

I'll be able to offer you my assistance backing up 
your computer during the set-up.

We have a two-week policy to ensure staff are able 
to get their data back if they forgot to grab it 
before it's wiped.

Hello Eric,

As for your first question, you can make a Time 
Machine backup or transfer files to your personal 
H: drive. With a Time Machine backup you can 
restore your backup on your new macbook.

The setup comes with a monitor, docking station, 
and laptop. The setup takes about 30 minutes to do 
in your office.

Lastly, this is a new Apple Macbook Pro 14-in M2 
Pro with 16 GB RAM 512 GB of storage.

1. Are you able to transfer everything over from 
my current MacBook?
2. How long will the setup take?
3. Is it a new MacBook? If so, just out of 
curiosity, do you have more information on it?
