The fan on your laptop has been replaced and it is 
available to be picked up whenever you're available. 
If it's more convenient we could also drop it off

I wanted to email you updating you on your laptop; we are expecting the replacement fan to get here some time tomorrow, and we would install it shortly after receiving it.

Hi Bertha,

Description: Bertha's laptop 20200411[Edit Inv] has a bad CPU fan

After going through our parts pile, I don't believe we have a spare fan laying around to fix this laptop with. We will have to purchase one, however, I need to clarify with our purchasing agent if it can come out of our budget or the departments because this is a generally funded laptop. Online, a brief look up for the part seemed like it would only be around $15 for the fan. I will email you again tomorrow once I have confirmed some things,

After looking at the fan it seems like that fan is not totally spinning 
with the motor. Which is causing the sound. Sent the information 
to Joanie to figure out what our next steps are for replacement.

Bertha brought in her laptop just now, 20200411[Edit Inv], and it's fan is sounding like there is something wrong with it. It seems to be spinning in place / bad bearing when we open it. We gave her loaner 20210079[Edit Inv] in the mean time, I am thinking we can harvest a spare fan from a parts laptop. Getting this done soon.
