Called Sandy and offered to drop off the laptop where she is, she said she is off-campus at the moment but will be on campus later. Will come and pick the laptop up at her convenience.

Hi Sandra,

I was talking to Joanie about your laptop and 
wanted to clarify what you would like me to do in 
regard to a resolution. I was unable to locate a 
laptop that was the exact model, so I cannot swap 
the screens out. Our only solution now would be to 
use it while plugged into an external monitor or 
to replace the computer entirely.

Please let me know what you would like to do.

Created a Time Machine backup, we are waiting for a purchase 
request for a new replacement. Laptop was damaged due to user 
closing lid with sewing pin on the hinge. Cracked screen and most 
likely damaged the wiring behind the screen causing the screen to 
not work anymore.

Once we get the purchase request for a new one, use the NVMe 
with the back up from her old laptop.

She can't use her device well enough to do her 
normal functions because it produces vertical lines 
and black screens on and off.

below. She is planning to stop by and drop her 
device for assessment around 10:30am and would 
like to pickup a macbook pro loaner.

On the loaner she needs: 
Adobe Suite 
Microsoft 365 programs 
Admin rights for screencast o matic 

Told her I'd give a call back once I know a loaner 
is ready.
