Jack Martinis	Dec 19, 2023 11:56 AM	**This is an outgoing email** Hi Trisha, I need some additional information regarding service request #82018 Description: Two Slow Computers; wanting to purchase new parts After looking at our inventory, it appears that these computers were outfitted with hybrid drives, and they should be able to be sped up by installing an NVME SSD drive in their place. For a 500gb SSD, which would be a 1:1 replacement size-wise for the computer, they are ~$34 each. On the purchase request form, the request would be for: 500gb NVME SSD. Once we get the order through, we would be able to pick up the desktops and clone the drives to the new ones rather quickly. Let me know if there are any further questions, -Jack Martinis, UCS Tech. Jack Martinis	Dec 19, 2023 11:07 AM	As long as inventory is accurate, these computers have hybrid sshd drives, not NVME drives. Being 2018's, they can take NVME drives, and if I recall correctly, it's $50 or so for a 500gb ssd	Add Attachment
