Hi Blanca,

I need some additional information regarding service request #82035

Description: WOU device W#20221170[Edit Inv] is having a repeated key strokes hardware malfunction

I've taken a look at the laptop and can't find any outstanding issues, especially the ones referenced in ticket - I've logged in with our UCS administrator profile, and no issues are presenting themselves. If you have time, I would like to have you log into the device to load your user profile and possibly replicate the issue - what I've typically done in this situation is delete the user profile and re-add it, though this would take out any data saved on the device itself.

Nothing appears wrong with device when signed into UCS admin profile; I think I've seen this before and it may be something to do with background processes on the users profile, or maybe even a rogue wireless accessory that is getting clicked when it's not meant to? (like a wireless mouse put away in a drawer or something, and other stuff is smushed up against it's buttons). That's pretty far fetched, though. One thing I recommend doing is simply deleting the user's profile off the machine and re adding it by having them log in, this usually alleviates a lot of issues.

*charger cord & bag is with the user

device is currently experiencing hardware
malfunction.
-the device would make an unusual sound like a
button is being pressed continuously.
-as a result, whenever the user tries to click on
information under a certain column in google
sheets--it gets deleted.
