Explained, and she agreed, that wifi on campus isn't that big of a deal; and that if it ever was in the future, she has a ts3+ dock for at home use that she could bring in. Closing ticket.

Tony and I attempted to try the gx3 ethernet adapter fix, but were unsuccessful in our attempts; both of us seemed to try correctly, but I think the reason it doesn't work is because the macbook was on Sonoma. The driver says it can do monterey and up, but I think sonoma must have changed several things that donked this up. I was able to unbind and rebind and re-add her printer, however.

Apologies that this wasn't working for you earlier, I think I am able to fix both of these issues still. I am here today until 5pm though I have an appointment @ 3:30. 

I am also available this Friday from 9am-5pm.

typically, if printers are not showing up at all, the macbook needs to be rebound to AD. As well, when the ethernet adapter is installed - the computer needs to be restarted to make sure this has taken effect.

printers did not populate at all, even when I used 
an ethernet adapter, they didn't show up when trying 
to add printers.

tried to install driver for the dock, however it 
still would not work. She had a zoom meeting at 11 
so I had to leave, the only thing I didn't try was 
just unplugging the ethernet from the dock instead 
of unpluging the dock from the computer when 
"activating" the driver

I am currently here at UCS - 
Mondays & Wednesdays 3pm-5pm

Secondly, once again my computer is not connecting 
to the ethernet port. I have a CalDigit docking 
station (#20161182) which is connected to the 
ethernet cord, but my computer is not recognizing 
the ethernet network. Is there anything I can do 
to try to resolve this issue?

Since Monday, I have been struggling to get my 
computer (#20191087) to print using the network 
printer. When I would try to print, it would 
indicate "printing paused," but no matter what I 
did, I couldn't get it to unpause. In the past 
when this has happened, I have deleted and re-
added the printer, and this has sometimes resolved 
the issue. However, I attempted this solution 
again, but I am now unable to find the printer to 
re-add it to my computer. Are there any 
instructions I should try to resolve this?
