Hi C. Mark,

Regarding service request #82357 Description: Cannot log into windows.

I was able to access your office today and work on the machine. We resolved the domain issue. I stuck around to update the OS while I was there, and encountered multiple blue screens of death. From the errors given it seems the hard drive on your computer is in the process of failing. I recommend saving any important files on the PC to WOU network drives and then contacting us to create a new ticket to replace the hard drive or replace the computer.

Was able to get into the office via Public Safety. Unbinded from domain, and rebound after a reboot. Encountered an error that the PC was already on the AD. Asked Micheal to delete it. He did. Had an obscure error about maximum # of PCs on domain. Micheal came over and tried re-binding to domain with his credentials and it worked. All set on this issue. However, when updating the PC, I encountered blue screens multiple times. I believe the HD is failing.

Hi C. Mark,

I need some additional information regarding service request #82357

Description: Cannot log into windows

I was wanting to inquire again about a possible time we can arrange for your office to remain unlocked, or have a colleague unlock it for us during the day. I believe we can also request campus public safety to unlock your room, though I am unsure about this process.

room is indeed in todd hall, not facilities - office should remain locked. Don't know if I can get an email back from him because of schedule conflicts, may have to have facilities unlock room for us.

I have it in my notes that you would be unavailable during the day time; what would be the best way on accessing this computers' location?

I am unsure if it will remain in a locked office during the day, for instance.

When logging in, user receives the message "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed."

Mark works nights, and won't be available for calls, but you should be able to go over and take care of this during the day.
