Hi Amy,

I need some additional information regarding service request #82548

Description: Printer jam problem

I am sorry no one has gotten back to you recently about this;

from the notes a previous tech left, it seems that the rear door assembly for the printer may need replacing - though, when the tech was looking, it seemed that only a smaller part on the whole assembly was actually broken and he was trying to find if we could order just the broken piece instead of the whole assembly to save money. I am unsure what he found, but I am able to inquire about and send a quote of the entire rear door assembly for a xerox versalink c600 printer.

rear door assembly is the "part" however I will try 
to find just the part that is broken, it might be 
cheaper and easier to replace.

if double sided printing / internal components are broken, I am unsure if we are able to fix them. I briefly looked over the many parts on this particular printer from Xerox's website directly and nothing said it was responsible for double sided printing / I am unsure if this is a built in feature and can be replaced.

being sucked back in to print on the other 
side

The waste cartridge problem seems corrected but 
now there is a paper jam problem. I have cc'd Mike 
LeMaster on this email as he has experienced it 
directly. If that problem could be added to the 
service request, that would be greatly 
appreciated!

Hello UCS,

We have a printer in DFSC 113 that has not been 
working for quite some time (this term). You can 
see the image below with the WOU number and the 
error message. 

Heather Gonzalez (DFSC building manager) has 
reported this need for repair to UCS this term, 
but the problem is still there. I have been in 
communications with our Division Chair, Steve 
Taylor, and he has given permission to pursue 
fixing this waste cartridge issue.

Is it possible to get this repair in the repair 
queue?
