Eliot stopped by, resoled the issue. When he went to log in I had 
him hold shift then click log in. This allows the mac to start up 
bypassing any startup processes.

Eliot called and said he restarted his mac this 
morning and it failed to start up and only got to 
a black screen with the loading pinwheel. He has 
restarted(imassuming hard restart) it 3 times and 
it still isn't loading anything
