Returned laptop with bag and charger. Everything
should be okay, explained that if there was any
other issues with it to let us know. All we did
was change out the thermal paste on the CPU.
Couldn't recreate the issue.

not shutting off though. Only has shut off one time since we have had it, unsure how to trigger it.

I believe the computer is getting to hot, opened
it up and reapplied thermal paste. Getting some
errors looking at core temp. Showing some cores
reaching 100C. Wondering if this is an overheating
issue rather than a battery issue.

testing laptop at the moment, and it doesn't look like the battery is draining that fast though it does seem to be dancing around with the remaining battery life (+- 30 minutes), which is typically a sign of a bad battery. We will do further testing and look up how much a replacement battery may be.

Paula stopped by and dropped 20191037[Edit Inv], she says
that this is her backup computer and has a primary
one she can work on temporarily. She says that she
left it charging over the weekend and when she
used it on Monday it kept shutting down on her
after 22 minutes.

She would like to be emailed updates.

****This is an email****
I would like to drop off laptop #20191037[Edit Inv] at UCS.
This laptop loses battery power quickly. The
laptop was plugged in to charge over the weekend
and when it was used on Monday afternoon, it shut
down after 22 minutes because it had run out of
battery.

Could somebody please look at it and let me know
if a new battery is an option.

Thank you
