hard drive priority was out of wack in bios, it was at very bottom? Changed their ssd to very top (highest priority) and windows booted up just fine afterwards.

Hi Roseanna,

I need some additional information regarding service request #82711

Description: working remotely today and her laptop made a loud alert sound and screen is displaying an error message

After looking at the attached screen shot, normally when I see this - this is typically a sign that the laptop is trying to download windows and fix itself after something went wrong. If you are unable to turn the laptop off all the way and get back to a normal windows login screen after turning it back on // if it just keeps going back to the screen you initially sent us, I believe this is something we would need to take a look at in person.

Let me know if you are still having issues this morning and later on we could perhaps zoom call over your phone and maybe walk through a couple things to check on the laptop.

Good morning!

I am working remotely today and when I turned on
my work laptop, the screen was black for about a
minute. I clicked Enter to see if it would wake up
the laptop but it was still black. Then a Dell
screen came up with a message I don’t recall what
it said and it started making a load alert sound
and I unplugged it bc I didn’t know what to do. I
waited a couple minutes then plugged it in and
turned it on and got this message. See attached
photo. It isnt making the sound now.

I can be reached at 213-810-5232.

Thank you!
