I went over, and saw 3 pending prints in the queue with a message
about authentication. Didn't see any place to provide authentication
in printer settings, I deduce it must be an external mechanism that
handles authentication.

She was able to print. I suggested she talk to the person who manages
the printer codes etc. I noted she has two printer entries for the
same printer. The non-color one printed fine. She was content with
that and not interested in testing by printing to the color variant
entry.

Hello Leticia,
I see that we are having issues with the printer in the SAC again.
We are really unsure why this is a persistent issue for your laptop.
I would really recommend us re-imaging the laptop and starting off from a fresh Mac OS installation, I think this would solve the issue from happening again in the future.
We would need all important documents / and or files saved onto a cloud drive like your H drive or google drive before wiping the laptop.

Let me know what you think of this,
-Jack Martinis, UCS Tech.

This has been done a ton of times, I am getting tired of going out there and doing the same fix over and over again. I am recommending her to reimage her computer.

She's having trouble with a printer in the Student
Success and Advising office. She would appreciate
help reconnecting it and walking her through the
steps so she knows how to do it if it happens again
