Jack Martinis	Dec 05, 2024 11:37 AM	**This is an outgoing email** Hi Taryn, The only way I have still been able to get Designer AI to appear on my powerpoint is to sign into Microsoft 365 online / through a web browser and use powerpoint through there. Jack Martinis	Apr 01, 2024 10:17 AM	**This is an outgoing email** Hi Taryn, I need some additional information regarding service request #82906 Description: needs Designer AI on PowerPoint added back in I wanted to inquire if the online access to powerpoint with the Designer AI feature is satisfactory or if you would like us to install the official program on your mac instead of what you have currently; I believe this is something I can do. Jack Martinis	Mar 27, 2024 04:50 PM	We technically don't use office 365 - one of the main reasons is how licensing works - with our current scheme, the licenses can transfer wherever the user is signed in and with 365, it only activates up to 3-5 devices or something like that per user - then it would be unlicensed on the next computer they sign into and they would have to go into their microsoft 365 account online and unconnect the PC's listed. Asides the point - it seems we may be able to: uninstall office suite off their machine and download the free 365 from the app store so they can sign in with their wou credentials and still be licensed, though it would be the different version and should hopefully pop up with the option Taryn was looking for. Jack Martinis	Mar 27, 2024 04:43 PM	**This is an outgoing email** Hi Taryn, I need some additional information regarding service request #82906 Description: needs Desiger AI on PowerPoint added back in One thing I've seen online is that it may be a difference between microsoft office 365 and the normal office suite - the normal office suite is what we have downloaded on the mac and 365 may be what is needed to unlock this feature. For the time being, would you mind testing to see if the option appears in the web browser version of powerpoint? If you look up microsoft powerpoint online, you should be able to sign in using your WOU email and @mash.wou.edu - I wanted to check if the option was available on this version. -Jack Martinis, UCS Tech.
