OKAY! Our Antivirus vendor got back to us with a 
fix!!



 

In your chrome browser, copy and paste this in the 
url bar:

chrome://flags/

 

Search the flags for TLS 1.3 hybridized Kyber 
support

 

Disable it!

 

Relaunch Chrome and let's see if it works!!!

Hi Michael,

I need some additional information regarding service 
request #83193

Description: Troubles signing in to Chrome, Chrome 
not loading pages

It seems a lot of people are having this exact same 
issue. We've determined that it's an issue with MacOS 
and the latest update Chrome pushed. It has been 
causing multiple users to experience that same issue. 
Unfortunately the best solution we have right now is 
to wait for Google to put out a fix for the issue.

Hi Michael,

We are experiencing similar issues with Chrome on 
other people's computers as well and were wondering 
if we could pick up your macbook one more time to 
attempt to fix the issue? We will swap your macbook 
out with a loaner macbook so that you will still 
have a computer during this time. Let us know if 
this works for you.

Updated Sophos, disabled Sophos and brought the laptop to UCS. 
It did work after these changes, but once I took it back to his 
office it had issues again. Going to get a Loaner set up on Tuesday 
and swap it out to do more extensive testing.

I apologize, I also forgot to get the WOU number of 
the laptop. From what I remember it is a 2020 
Macbook.

Called at 3:30pm about having issues connecting to 
the internet all day. I went over and it is not an 
internet issue (wifi and ethernet are functional). 
It is a chrome issue. Chrome is not loading pages. 
I believe it gave the error message of "refused to 
connect" but forgot to take a picture. He is 
logged out of chrome now and it will not allow him 
to log back in.

He is wanting someone to come in and fix it at 8am 
tomorrow. He will probably call about the issue. 
If no one is able to get to this before 11am I can 
go back over there but will need someone to go 
with me as I am at a loss as to how to solve it.
