had to download the installer app thing from their website, took a while to go through but after now it is all detected and works great.

Brought printer over, unboxed and set it up. All that is needed is for: the tape to be taken off everywhere, the ink to be loaded into the stuff and follow the basic instructions on the install paper.

Take all tape off, 
plug into power but don't press power button.
fill ink.
turn on.
setup page.
yes, yes, yes...
ink priming for 10 minutes.
click okay and should be ready.
load paper,
plug cable in,
auto detect drivers,
good to go.
