Hi Erin,

I need some additional information regarding service request #83414

Description: Monitors not connecting

If the way the monitors are arranged now works for you, that is great!

If you want to be able to use your laptop screen as a third screen, I believe we would have to connect the second monitor independently so that would be two cords coming out of your laptop. Let me know if this is something you may want to set up,

for now I will close the ticket.

page 22 says it can support up to 3 monitors with its main display on and if the lid is shut up to four external monitors so IDK whats happening.

She had the same adapter I brought over, and yet it still didn't work. I don't know if the laptop was ever capable of three monitors at once.

all three monitors not coming on like she said they have before. Only the two external would come on when the laptop was closed, and when the lid was open they both would turn off - detected in windows but not available. I am thinking a usb c adapter may fix this.

They said now: one monitor comes up, and one doesn't - sounds like a bad monitor or cable? she said the wou number was 20110959[Edit Inv] so I could easily see it being a bad monitor, video cable or power cable.

She said her zoom problem may be fixed because she didn't have her microphone popped up - I confirmed with her that she is using one of our new monitors with the pop up webcam / mic setup, and they didn't know that if the webcam isn't popped up, the mic and webcam is disconnected. I informed them of this.

I will be coming over there today @ 2pm to look at their monitor, I will bring a spare second monitor we have from our exempt pool as well as replacement cables to see if those are the culprit.

Looking for a tech to come out before 10am today. 
They also stated that their zoom phone automatically 
mutes calls even when they click unmute, the call is 
muted again automatically.

Erin called to report that when she brought her 
laptop in to her office and plugged it in to her 
monitors, it isn't connecting and the screens 
remain blank. 
She's restarted her computer and made sure there's 
power to the monitors
