She came in, I finished installing creative cloud
and helped walk her through how to install the other
applications, she should be good to go now.

To follow up, if 4:30 would work, I could even leave
my laptop with you if more needs to get done and
pick it up Tuesday.

Hi Mary, thanks. I will be working in Philomath
most of the day. Would 4:00 work and hopefully be
enough time? Should I send you the list of
programs that were deleted during the reset or
just show you on monday? thanks so much

Hi, I tried to install adobe but the installation
failed. I clicked on the Build folder and opened
installer. It asks me to make firefox my default
browser, I said yes but it didn't open. Can I
make an appointment on monday late in the day when
I am there to have someone check it out?
I wonder if there are other things that got
deleted during reset that are preventing this

Hi Regina,

Try unzipping the file then extracting the
contents (there will be an extract button). This
should allow you to install Adobe Creative Cloud
without any issues. If you run into any issues
please don't hesitate to reach out!

Best,
Charlee

Hi Laurie, I uninstalled all adobe apps and ran
the cleaner, and tried to download it from the

Adobe Acrobat Distiller and Adobe creative cloud
are also listed in my apps. Should I uninstall all
of them?

ello,

The issue could be that your computer still has
remnants of the previously installed version in
the computer memory. My advice would be to
uninstall it, then run an Adobe CC Cleaner. Here
is a link from the Adobe help page that has the
link for the CC Cleaner installation and steps on
how to run it: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-
elements/kb/elements-installation-error-CC-
cleaner-tool.html

Once you run the cleaner, then reinstall it from
the Portal and it should work. If it doesn't work
for you please let me know.

Best,
Laurie

Hello,

I'm happy to help troubleshoot this issue with
you. Did you have Adobe previously installed
before you tried downloading it from the Portal?
Are you logging in with dusenburyr@wou.edu?

Best,
Laurie

Hi, me again. Adobe acrobat is not working
properly for me. . When I go into applications to
try and restore it, It says I am part of the wou
account but keeps asking me to try a trial or
purchase it. I tried to install it from the
portal and says I can access its features but I
tried to edit a document and it won't let me.
This is how my adobe files are showing up which is
different from before my reset:
image.png What can I do to fix this? thanks
