I went over and cleaned the scanner glass to get rid 
of the blue line. I test scanned to myself again to 
confirm both the line had disappeared and that the 
scan was legible.

fixed the jibberish issue, however scan has a blue 
line running through it.

talked to John/david, and ricoh has a split feature 
where it splits up the scan into multiple emails, 
turned it off.

Ok, no worries! It gave me the same error and sent 
multiple emails. I just restarted the printer got 
the same error message and multiple emails. 
Bummer, I was hoping that would work.

I'm out of the office for the rest of this week. 
If they come work on the printer, tell them I am 
trying to scan a 8 page, one-sided black & white 
word document with signatures. I'll leave a 
photocopy of it on the small wooden desk next to 
Drake.

Thank you for your followup. Our techs are still 
currently working on getting to your issue. 

When you printed to Drake this morning, did the 
scan split into emails once again or was it 
different errors this time? Additionally, have you 
tried restarting the printer, does that help? 

Let us know when you can and I can update your 
ticket for our techs to note that important 
information.

Hi,
I haven't seen anyone yet and I tried to scan with 
Drake this morning and I'm still getting the same 
errors. Do you know if they've checked it out yet?

Hi,

I'm having problems this week scanning with Drake. 
Below is an email that is supposed to be a scan. 
Drake broke the multi-page scan into three emails, 
two of which look like the one below. The first 
one had a downloadable PDF but it won't open, it 
gives me an error. I attached that PDF.
