Hi Cynthia,

I need some additional information regarding service request #83535

Description: Printer keeps saying paused and not resuming

I am emailing to schedule a good time to look at this; I am available next Monday from 9am to 1pm. Though, we have been having similar issues regarding this type of printing issue and Macs across campus.

I would like to ask that you fully update the Mac OS on your MacBook to the latest supported version as this can fix several printing issues. You can navigate there by looking up system preferences (the gear icon) and clicking on software update.

Cynthia's office hours and my work hours do not 
align (except for Monday from 2-3pm, but this 
Monday is Memorial Day). Would someone else be 
willing to take this?

Hi Cynthia,

I need some additional information regarding 
service request #83535

Description: Printer keeps saying paused and not 
resuming

We stopped by and restarted the printer (Odette) 
so hopefully this helped. We just missed you, I 
think you had just started your next class, but I 
will be available to check it out Thursday between 
2-5pm and Friday between 11am-4pm if those times 
work for you and this issue is still unresolved! 
Also my boss was able to fix the sound issue in 
Maple Hall so you should be good to go!

We restarted the printer to see if that helps and checked it for any 
errors but it seemed fine.

Hi Cynthia,

We recently deployed a new print server not too 
long ago and received several reports of similar 
issues of faculty losing connection with their 
printer or are already connected but are having 
trouble printing. Have you tried rebooting your 
computer and seeing if it resolves the issue? 
Also, could you provide your device's WOU#?

Hello,
I am having trouble printing on our Dance Program 
printer which is located in the OPE 206 Conference 
Room. The message I keep getting is that it is 
paused, but when I try to get it to resume, it 
defaults to being paused.  The printer's name is 
Threesisters- CA- Odette.
