Kathy Espino Perez's office, no it wasn't in her 
office. that WOU # is 20190229[Edit Inv]. But she could have 
a difference device at home.

Hi Tracy,

So it looks like the last tech that worked on it 
graduated this summer and some miscommunication 
happened on our end that resulted in us closing 
the ticket.
According to the ticket we ended up getting 
everything back except for the laptop (20181460). 
Is there a way that you can check if the laptop is 
still in Todd 332?
I also went ahead and reopened this ticket.

Hello Tony, 
I appreciate your help with getting the 
equipment picked up from TH 351.  I have 
arranged to have Melissa Cannon meet you at 
TH 351 on Weds Sept 4 at noon (does that 
still work for you?). 

As we discussed, the minimum goal for this 
meeting is to have you/UCS disconnect/move 
the equipment in the office to clear space 
for the new faculty member.  If any of the 
equipment can be taken that day, that would 
be great, but the biggest pressing goal is 
to have an office that is more ready for a 
new person. 

I have cc-ed Mellissa on this email.  She 
is more familiar than I am with the 
equipment and the laptop we are holding out 
until we know more information about future 
research uses.

Here are some options:



1)  Is there a possibility that I can have this 
older laptop (5300 Dell Latitude) assigned to our 
Gerontology Lab as it could run the data until 
these projects are finished. The other gero 
faculty may want this laptop as well for their 
projects.  I did download and save all of my 
documents and the data files off my H drive.  So, 
the H drive can be cleared.  The K drive is where 
I would also have the original data.  If the 
laptop can be used by the Gero team, I could also 
use it this year to finish up what is needed with 
others including Dr. Ibaraki.  FYI--I am the 
manager of the qualitative data for all three 
projects. .



2)  Is there a possibility that the software can 
be downloaded onto my personal computer (I doubt 
this could happen but I am asking). 



3)  Not finish the manuscripts. 



Any help here would be great. Thanks!

Please read:  My original plan was to have 
emeritus status so I could come to campus and 
finish the three manuscripts that I have underway 
(two of which are with Dr. Ibaraki and all three 
are with alumni as well).  The computer in our 
Gerontology lab has the software that I need to 
run the data (Maxqda). My intention was to use the 
lab to bring the manuscripts to publication and 
eventually erase all data (K drive); however, I 
went into the lab last week (prior to my diagnosis 
of Covid) and it looks like the computer I use is 
noncommissioned. Both of my laptops have versions 
of the software on it and UCS has the licenses 
that I received through my start-up.

I have left the equipment that I have in my office 
Todd Hall 351. I no longer have keys to it and it 
is empty except the equipment  I have made notes 
below on the information you provided me. BreeAnn 
Liddle is our admin and she would be the person to 
handle the departmental equipment and arrange with 
you to come to my office. 

Here is a list of the GFA Equipment to return, and 
we can help pick this up for you.  Just let us 
know what day and time would work best.  We would 
like to pick it up before 4:30pm on your last day.  
Also there is a form that HR gives you that we can 
sign off on at that time as well.
