When I traced the cable in the back of the computer and where it went, I was took to these ports on the wall and looking at the port there was an ethernet cable plugged into both data ports (both ends of cable plugged into wall). I was able to find the right ethernet cord and plugged it into one of the ports and it worked.

Computer now has internet. Closing ticket.

Hi Nora,

I need some additional information regarding service request #84191

Description: Internet connection

If there is no internet coming through the cable, we can come take a look at the connection some time - however, for the time being, that desktop should have a wifi card if I remember correctly and you may be able to hook up to WOU-Secure and use the desktop with internet still.

Good morning,
One of our student employee stations is having 
issues connecting with the internet. I tried 
unplugging/replugging everything but it still says 
there is no connection. The WOU number is: 
20190878[Edit Inv] and is located in the Public Services 
work area - room HL117. Could you have someone 
take a look at it whenever it's convenient?
