No clue why it would have crashed. For some reason, the dock cord was not charging. 

I simply unplugged the dock and I put in my loaner to the dock and it was charging there. I unplugged the dock from power to power cycle it, and plugged everything back in. After plugging in their laptop, the screen brightened as if a charger was plugged in and I believe it should be all good to go now.

  XuanXuan's computer crashed in the middle of the 
check run....we must complete the direct 
deposit...no wiggle room.

  She has restarted it twice - and the message is 
Charger - unable to detect charger.
