Rowan and I took a look at it; something about a print server or some sort of network printer sharing thing not being available through their medicat software. It worked with the computer but not medicat. We told them to contact medicat and let us know the results. It seems medicat virtually sets these printers / scanners up for them to use as they use a sort of VDI system to access medicat, thus nothing the computer sees comes through to medicat.

I just need someone to come help with it before

Hi Veronica,

I need some additional information regarding service request #84470

Description: scanner is not working

Would you be able to provide more details for your scanner - what application are you attempting to scan to?

Has this only happened recently, and have there been any changes in plugging the scanner in or out of any USB ports?

A quick test would be to unplug the scanner, restart the scanner as well as the computer it is attached to and replug the scanner back into the computer.
