We got Milntra 20200419[Edit Inv] for a laptop, which they have now. I am now cleaning up and taking over monitors 20161050[Edit Inv], 20140990[Edit Inv], and a docking station when I find one.

Hi Karen,

I need some additional information regarding service request #84606

Description: 2 Monitors & Docking Station Needed - BELL 306

Min came into pick up their laptop and that is all set up with the exception of a department I drive which I was unable to add as they didn't have access to the humanities I drive - would you be able to email a request into UCS requesting access for Min to this I drive?

We can also set up a date and time for me to come over and install a dock and two monitors within their room, they said I was welcome to be let in by you.

Would you happen to know if there is still a laptop present in Bell 306?

I think there is some confusion on whether or not there was any equipment left behind that can complete this setup for Milntra, if I can come over and check or if you know that would be helpful; I can prepare a setup otherwise.

Since they are part-time would they be eligible to 
get a device? 

If not, are they able to get setup with monitors 
and a docking station?

Hi Sam,
My position is part-time (almost full-time, I 
think my 2024-2025 FTE is .85 or more). I started 
back in January 2024 teaching only one course. But 
I will be teaching 4 courses in the Fall, 2 in 
Winter, and 3 in Spring. 

Thanks for your help! The monitors will definitely 
improve my ability to manage all these classes!

Hi Karen,

I’ve never received or been assigned a laptop from 
WOU. I have been using my personal laptop since 
the start. It is an Hp spectre 360 with intel core 
i7 (7th gen) and Windows 10.

Good morning, Sam.

 

I don’t have that number.  It’s a laptop assigned 
to Milntra Raksachat, V00401805.  You should have 
that in your records.  I believe it’s a Dell, but 
Min can confirm.

 

Min – can you look at your laptop and find the WOU 
label with a barcode, and provide that number to 
Sam at:  ucshelpdesk@mail.wou.edu, and let them 
know the type of laptop you have?

Hello UCS,

 

We had a number of faculty who left WOU, and I 
requested that you come and pick up their computer 
equipment, which was done a few weeks ago.  (Thank 
you).

 

Now that someone is moving into BELL 306, she will 
need two monitors and a docking station that is 
assigned to her.  Her name is Milntra Raksachet, 
V00401805.

 

Please let me know when you are able to bring the 
equipment and I’ll be sure to be here to let you 
into her office.
