We have the 2023 tablet ready to go and or be assigned to a new user, though we will want to know the details of the user for us to add their local login if it is being shipped off.
There was talk about adding ERS to the tablet, but reviewing our installations I believe the ERS installation and key is with TRI.

Good Morning,
The tablet # is 20211370[Edit Inv]. I am able to log into my 
tablet, when I left UCS there was an update that 
was being installed, and when I got home and 
checked on the update it said it could not 
complete and had a long error message with the 
title: bad image. This error also came up when I 
was trying to log in the first few times. Aimee 
mentioned there are some quirks with the set-up of 
these tablets due to the program we use for 
assessments.

Hi Aimee,

In regard to software from Branagh Group, ERS, it 
seems to be licensed from TRI and we don't have 
access to it at UCS.

If assistance is needed for installing ERS, we would 
need the installer and other relevant activation 
details to help set that up.

I also see that there was another email sent in by 
Erin Kost, in regard to the same software?

I saw previously there was a technician from Branagh 
Group who helped with the installation of the 
software for TRI.

Aimee dropped off the device 20230773[Edit Inv] as well as a 
charger for it. She says they need Brauna (not 
sure if that's spelt right) software on it and 
John would know more about how to reimage the 
tablet and get Brauna installed properly so it 
does not cause issues.

That sounds good, see you @4pm! Ephrem does not 
need to be on campus. We can set up his account so 
he can access the device remotely.

Yes, the user is Ephrem Mamo, mamoe@wou.edu (The 
Research Institute - Project Specialist, 
Assessment). 
The only additional software that will need to be 
on the tablet is called Branagh.

Hi Aimee,

For devices that are going to be remote and off 
campus, it will need to be imaged and assigned 
specifically for the user or they will not be able 
to login.

While you get the device to us, can you provide 
the user that will be using it and if there is 
special software that needs to be installed and 
licensed by UCS.
So I can expedite the process and have the device 
worked on as soon as possible.

Hi, I am supervising a new WOU employee who is 
having trouble opening their Microsoft Surface Pro 
tablet. I believe that it was previously used and 
perhaps wiped of information before being assigned 
to the new employee. Do we need UCS to prepare or 
set the tablet up for WOU use? If so, please let 
me know and I can bring it over today.

Hi Ephrem,

I wanted to reach out to give you an update 
regarding the surface tablet. According to our 
technicians, the device was originally set up for 
a different person. You now have a device and are 
trying to use it but it does not have a local 
account made specifically for you. 

The device should have been brought back to UCS so 
we could reimage it and make a new account for you 
to use. 

Given that, you will need to bring the device back 
to UCS so that we can get you access to it. Let us 
know what works for you! 

Additionally, are you able to forward the WOU# of 
your device?
