After further testing, Laptop seems to not be 
flickering anymore.

Took the laptop apart and made sure there was a good 
connection between the screen and the motherboard. 
Haven't noticed any flickering yet. Needs more 
testing putting in box 16

Hello,

Recently HR interpreter Ben Cavaletto has been 
working with you to resolve an issue with his 
laptop. He received an email stating that you were 
not able to fix the laptop and that it either 
needed to be fixed or replaced. We have decided to 
replace his laptop rather than fix it. What 
information do you need to proceed? Ben had a 
MacBook and I believe would like to replace it 
with a MacBook. Ben can provide his V# and I can 
provide the HR Interpreting index # - HR 0918.

The flickering is persistent after reimaging and 
the device is out of warranty. Upon assessment our 
techs have determined that you will need to pay 
for this issue to be fixed or you can purchase an 
upgrade.

Verified with the user that all his files/docs 
have been saved and that the device is all set to 
be reimaged if that is what needs to be done. 

Rowan got him setup with a loaner so he is able to 
do his job.

Hello,

I am experiencing 2 issues with my assigned laptop 
(20190150).
The screen regularly blacks out for 1-3 seconds. 
This does not happen when I am connected to an 
external monitor. It seems like the laptop is 
looking for an external monitor (when nothing is 
plugged in) and then realizing that there isn't 
one, and then the screen works again. 
My clock regularly fails to update, especially 
after waking up from sleeping (it shows the time 
when it fell asleep) or from an update (it shows 
the time from a different time zone, and I have to 
reset the settings to "update time 
automatically").
I am on campus today and can bring the laptop in 
if there is a loaner available?
