I stopped in and it was just not getting a dell command update, presumably for the bios. Windows updates went through, and I explained how updates can be a little strange sometimes. It should be fine currently, and hopefully when next updates roll around it will fix these problematic ones.

I need some additional information regarding service request #84749

Description: update failing to install

Whenever you have availability to bring it into UCS or for a tech to come take a look at it in APSC, we are able to look over this and try and solve this issue of your laptop not updating.

Hi there,

I'm getting an error on my Typewell transcribing 
laptop (20230588), both in Windows Update and Dell 
Command Update. In Windows Update, it says that 
it's encountering an error and that there were 
problems installing updates. In Dell Command 
Update, it says there's a critical BIOS update but 
the update fails when I try to install it. I've 
tried both update sequences multiple times and 
have restarted the computer several times. Any 
ideas on anything else I should try?
