Hi Armando,

We were just following up with you regarding a 
service request that we have for you.  (#84772)

Description: Issues with J Drive

Do you have the WOU provided VPN installed while 
remote?
A VPN is needed to access drives while not on the 
campus network.

If you need to install the VPN, here is the link to 
install it. (https://wou.edu/ucs/remote-access/)

Once connected, open "Command Prompt" and run the 
command "gpupdate /force" without the quotes then 
restart your computer.

This should refresh your computer's connection, and 
if that doesn't solve your access to J drive, please 
let me know!

if its connected to the vpn it should sync with 
active directory and update the password with the 
access??

Hello,
My name is Mando Solario from the WOU admissions 
office. Yesterday I changed my WOU password 
because I haven't updated it in quite some time. 
Unfortunately since then I have not been able to 
access the J drive while being remote. The error 
code I am receiving is " J:\ is not accessible. 
The username or password is incorrect". I wasn't 
sure if I needed to also change my laptop password 
as well. I was hoping to potentially get some 
troubleshooting help.
