I changed Emily's print driver to an IM 3000 that 
doesn't allow color printing. This will eliminate 
1 of the two issues. I also started checking the 
show print code button everytime to make sure it's 
actually passing the code.

Hi Sam,

Thanks for your response. I can send my printing 
needs to my colleagues with PCs, who have been 
able to set everything up so it works. Everyone I 
know with an Apple is still on the struggle bus, 
unfortunately.

Thank you for your help, and I look forward to 
hearing from the Printer technician. I am 
traveling with Athletics tomorrow and Friday, so 
if he can't come today I'll need to make an 
appointment for next week.

Thank you for elaborating on that, we appreciate 
your patience and understanding especially as the 
first weeks roll in. I have assigned your ticket 
to our Printer technician. He will reach out as 
soon as he is available to stop by and take a look 
at the printer. 

For now are you able to find a place to print 
temporarily to?

Hi Sam,

I'm not getting an error. It just isn't printing. 

I successfully deleted the upstairs printer. But I 
can't add it because, following your directions, I 
don't know the modal of my printer or how to find 
that. So now I don't know how to add it back.

I just tried to print on the downstairs printer. 
It prompted me to enter my code, which I believe 
should be automatic based on the setup last week. 
But I entered it. And it didn't print downstairs 
either. 

I understand that you're getting a lot of requests 
and issues with the printers. I know three other 
people in my hallways who are extremely frustrated 
as well, and it's not UCS's fault. I would really 
appreciate if someone could come help me today. 
This negatively impacts my ability to teach in an 
interactive way.

Good Morning Emily, 

Are you able to provide me with some details on 
the error that you are getting when you print? 
Have you tried deleting the printer and re-adding 
it? I have attached instructions below on how to 
do so. 

If that did not work, please elaborate on what 
occurs when you try to print this time.  Are you 
trying to print in color? Are you able to print a 
test page? If you look up your printer & scanner 
settings and locate the name of your printer, you 
should be able to select it and click "Manage" to 
find the "print test page" option. 

Please let me know how it goes!

Hi all,

I had a tech come last week to set up my computer 
to print. It worked the one time with the tech 
here and hasn't worked since. I will be in my 
office from 11am-5pm today. Can someone please 
come help me figure this out?

I don't know if the names of the printers are the 
same, but they used to be the two THREESISTERS 
copiers--basically just the upstairs and 
downstairs machines in the RWEC building:

Hi all,

We spent a bunch of time getting my computer 
updated and able to print over the summer. Then 
the printer changed. Could someone please come 
help me connect my office desktop to the printer 
again? I'm here all day today, but I assume you're 
swamped. I will also be here from 12-6pm on 
Wednesday.
