Hi Ryan,

I was looking at the HU-copier that you are having
issues printing to. In the address book you have a
code setup 5404. That code allows you to print
past the restriction and may have been lost from
your printer settings.

If you attempt to print again, you can try
entering the code back in to see if that gets you
working again. Here are the steps to accomplish
that: (this process will be different if you print
from a program other than office).

Open Microsoft Word, create a new document, type
test and press Command+P to bring up the print
dialog box. Scroll down and expand Printer
options. Scroll down again and select the icon
across from Job Log.

In the new window, check the ‘Enable User Code’
Box, which allows text to be entered in the User
Code field below. Go ahead and enter your printer
User Code, then press Ok.

Open the printer features and turn color to black
and white.

Select ‘Default Settings’ from the top of the
Print box, select ‘save current settings as
presets’.

Give the preset a name like ‘Print Code’ and press
OK. This saves the print code, as well as any
other print settings selected for that preset for
future printing inside this application.

Let me know if that resolves your issue. If not,
we can set up a time for me to come take a look at
your computer.

Thanks,
David

Called to troubleshoot printing issue. He was
getting two errors:

Printer Blocked
Printer stopped

Verified that he is not trying to print a document
with color. He restarted the printer but that did
not help the issue.

I sent him instructions on how to add and delete
printers. I will update the ticket if that worked.

For now, he suspects that his laptop is causing
issues with the printer.

John looked up the printer on his end and found
that it was online but did not have any print jobs
sent from today....

He is available today from 2-4pm if you need to
head over. Ryan is able to figure out printing by
using his collogues help temporarily.
