Took forever to complete. Computer took forever to restart after changes / uninstalls, and equally long to install anything in the first place.

After all the attempts, it finally came through and both acrobat and creative cloud stuck around on the desktop and were licensed.

For dell PC:

First ran the acrobat uninstaller, then rebooted when prompted.

Then, ran creative cloud cleaner, did the option for all products = gone, and rebooted.

Then, I noticed sophos endpoint was still on this computer, so I ran the removal tool and uninstalled it successfully, rebooted.

Restarting now and attempting to put our current copy of creative cloud on there.

I am trying to re-install Adobe but it does not
seem to work for me. I am confused about step 7.
Is there somebody who can help me?

****This is an OUTGOING email****

Good afternoon Paula,

We have had some users experience the same issue.
We've found that uninstalling Adobe programs and
reinstalling using the link in the portal located
in "Programs for Everyone" has helped. Using the
Adobe CC cleaner which I linked down below will
help fully uninstall the remnants of Adobe which
can sometimes cause issues. We are hoping that
uninstalling (fully) and reinstalling Adobe from
the portal will give you access again to the
supported version of Adobe.

To uninstall Adobe please visit this link for
instructions: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-
cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-
problems.html

To install Adobe visit the "Programs for everyone"
section of your portal homepage.

Here is also a step by step for this process:

1. Use add/remove programs and uninstall Adobe
Acrobat
2. Next remove the creative cloud as well.
3. Then run the AcroCleaner tool.
4. On all the Acro cleaner prompts, select y for
yes and always say all when it asks what to clean.
5. Restart the computer once completed
6. Now log in to portal and reinstall Adobe
https://www2.wou.edu/nora/ellism.adobe3
7. Update Acrobat from Menu>Help>Check for updates
8. Log in to the creative cloud and redownload any
apps you need.

Let me know if this works for you.

Best,
Mary

I am unable to use my Adobe Acrobat and it won't let me sign in. It will go directly to a
pop-up screen that asks me to upgrade.
