Hi Team - I have a mission critical laptop issue 
in my office, NS210.  The laptop is set up on the 
front desk near the door.  Beeb has called this in 
yesterday and today, but have not heard back from 
UCS tech, need some assistance as I use this 
laptop for online classes, zoom, etc. on a regular 
basis.

The microphone on the laptop has somehow become 
disconnected from Zoom, and is not being 
recognized.  I have checked all of the privacy 
settings, restarted the machine, worked with 
Windows settings + trouble shooting, and can not 
find a solution.  I'm wondering if the driver 
needs to be reinstalled?  I'm not sure?

More recently, in addition to the Zoom disconnect, 
a "Windows Service" has somehow taken over the 
microphone, and is causing auto-feedback echoing 
through the speaker system.  I have not been able 
to disconnect the microphone from the "Windows 
Service", so for now to stop the feedback, I have 
disabled the microphone.

Any assistance ASAP would be greatly appreciated.  
I use the laptop on a daily basis, and it's final 
exam time.

Microphone still not working with multiple 
programs. The main Issue being with zoom. 
Wondering if people could go out to fix it today 
12/10/24. Beeb Singson as acting liaison.
