the detachable cable connected from the dock to the laptop was damaged at the usb c connector and needed replacing. Not typical, but due to our plethora of these older docks (Dell WD15), I was able to get approval and pluck a working cord from one in our stash to replace theirs with. I replaced their broken cord with our working one and it works great now.

Hi Nancy,

I need some additional information regarding service request #85765

Description: Docking station does not connect device to monitor, needs to be looked at

I was wondering what issues you were facing with your docking station and if there are any example pictures you might be able to send to demonstrate the issue;

I don't have a lot of information regarding the original issue other than that the docking station isn't displaying your laptop to your monitors.
