Hi Katrien,

In order to properly submit your computer
replacement request, it needs to be requested
through your WOU portal.

Under programs for everyone, there is a link
called computer replacement. If you click that
link and enter your computers 8 digit WOU number,
you are then prompted to decide if you want a
Windows or a Mac replacement. It is important that
this request is submitted through your portal
account so that the replacement is tied to you
instead of another employee.

Let me know if you have trouble with that.

Thanks,
David

****This is an email****

Hello,

UCS staff informed me this month that I qualify
for a computer upgrade. Considering t'is the
season 🎄, and my current desktop computer is at
times stubborn at starting up in the morning, I
would like a new pc.
This morning, and this happens a couple times a
week or so - since the power outage a few weekends
ago in fact - I get a message saying "no DP
signal" after I turn on my desktop. My monitors
stay dark and there's no Windows. To restart, I
unfortunately turn it off by holding the on/off
button. The second launch is usually successful.

Thank you for following up, at your convenience. I
am here until 4:45 pm today, at Bell 234, have
time off during the President's gift days, and
will be back in the office on 1/2/25.

Happy Holidays,

Katrien
